AFTER THAT AUGUST launches in Toronto!
Well folks: it actually happened. AFTER THAT AUGUST had its official debut on a wet and rainy November night at the Lyceum Gallery in Toronto and is now a real-life book.

Even though it’s been over a week, I’m still feeling a bit breathless from it all. Even now, I can’t quite find the words to say how it felt, being at the front of that room and seeing all those beautiful and familiar faces looking back at me. I had attempted to prepare for this night by visualizing it in my mind but as the actual day neared, I felt like my heart was going to explode. It all turned out even better than I’d imagined.
There were so many people who helped and I am especially grateful to Jen Rovinelli, Kayla Lewis, Catherine Farquharson and Della Rollins for being total superstars as well as an essential part in making that night so special. Special thanks to Jen Arron for being an incredible emcee and for speaking with such power and grace that it was stunning to behold. Truly a night that I will remember for the rest of this lifetime.
